The English Teaching and Learning Collective (E-TLC) is a community of students, families and educators dedicated to effective and engaging teaching and learning of English. Created by Dr. Stephanie Dewing and Mary Hanson, these career educators have extensive experience teaching English abroad and within the United States as well as equipping pre-service and in-service teachers with the tools and strategies necessary to make a difference in the lives and academic success of their students. Their ability to support teachers has been expanded by being named an approved Colorado Department of Education, English Learner Professional Development Program.
Mary and Stephanie have worked together for many years and are committed to helping equip teachers with the tools and strategies necessary to make a difference in the lives and academic success of their students. Their ability to support teachers has been expanded by being named official CDE-approved English Learner professional development providers. Understanding the busy lives that most teachers lead, we wanted to create a professional development opportunity where teachers could receive engaging instruction from the comfort of their own homes and therefore, will offer this PD remotely. We look forward to working with you!
